Medicusmundi and Centro Terra Viva (CTV) held, between April 26 and 30, the National Week of Artisanal and Small-Scale Mining (MAPE), with a view to establishing an open space between civil society and public institutions to share knowledge, debate issues of common interest and propose strategies for the dignification of artisanal and small-scale mining activity in Mozambique. Events held throughout the MAPE week.

The capacity building aims to increase sensitivity on gender issues through greater knowledge and application of the Regulation of the Code of Ethics for Journalists in Mozambique on Ethical Communication in the coverage of issues of Gender-Based Violence, produced by medicusmundi.

medicusmundi expressed is feeling of honor for supporting, organizing and being present with the Government and the strategic sectors in Cabo Delgado province, at the launch of  Community Nutrition Campaign, which took place between 16 and 23 November 2020, in the Namuno districts of, Montepuez and Ancuabe, with the motto “NUTRED COMMUNITY, HEALTHY COMMUNITY”.
