In a context of conflict, thousands of families from Cabo Delgado have had to leave their home to seek refuge in the southern part of the province. Many of them live in Resettlement Centres and see their right to health threatened, the capacity of the Ministry of Health being insufficient to respond. The project contributes to guaranteeing primary health care in emergencies (including the COVID-19 pandemic) to the displaced population in such a way that the increase in morbidity and mortality of the population can be prevented, improving the health status of the population in in general, of the most vulnerable people in particular (women, girls, older people).
