Emergency social and health care for the displaced population resettled in the districts of Ancuabe, Montepuez and Namuno (Cabo Delgado, Mozambique)

Contribute to improving the provision of mental health services and psychosocial support in 5 resettlement centers in the districts of Ancuabe, Namuno and Montepuez, in the Province of Cabo Delgado (Mozambique)

The proposed intervention aims to work hand in hand with the Provincial Health Directorate (DPS), through its Health, Women and Social Action District Services (SDSMAS) of Ancuabe, Namuno and Montepuez, prioritizing this time in a single intervention pillar/sector: HEALTH. With the DPS and the SDSMAS, as well as in dialogue with the local leaders of the communities, the need to continue working on strengthening the emergency health care provided from the HCs and with community participation has been identified, with an emphasis on mental health and psychosocial support, since it is an area that is not being covered by any actor on the ground, in the project's intervention area.
