As part of the campaign, informational posters were placed in strategic locations within the community, including the Metoro Health Centre, Cahora Bassa Primary School, the local market, the administrative post office, and bus stops along the road. The goal is to enhance the dissemination of information on good hygiene practices and the prevention of waterborne diseases, contributing to the improvement of public health in the region.

In addition to putting up posters, educational talks were held at the Health Centre and the Primary School, with the participation of 159 people, including 47 adults (38 women and 9 men) and 112 children (65 girls and 47 boys).

The activity was supported by the Project Assistant, SDSMAS professionals from Ancuabe, drivers, and representatives from the education sector, reinforcing medicusmundi’s commitment to promoting health and improving living conditions for resettled and host communities’ populations.
