Strengthening healthcare at the Momane Resettlement Centre (Montepuez) with the delivery of equipment
Activity carried out within the scope of the humanitarian action project funded by the Generalitat Valenciana and Valencian Cooperation.
Strengthening PHC
"with the aim of strengthening patient care both at the fixed point and at the mobile brigades"
On June 17, 2025, medicusmundi delivered equipment to the Ntapata Health Centre, in the district of Montepuez (Cabo Delgado), with the aim of strengthening patient care both at the fixed point and at the mobile brigades operating in the Momane Resettlement Centre’s area of influence.
The donation included two shade tents, two tables, and six chairs, materials that aim to:
- Promote comfort and organization during consultations
- Improve working conditions and services at the mobile brigades
- Promote the adoption of safe and dignified care practices
During the presentation ceremony, the health centre’s director, Mr. João Colónia Saide, expressed his gratitude: "I am happy and grateful for the commitment and dedication that medicusmundi has shown through their work and to our health centre."
With this support, it is hoped that the population of the Momane Resettlement Centre will benefit from more comfortable, safe, and humane care.
This activity is part of the humanitarian action project "Improving the provision of quality health services to the displaced population and host communities of Ancuabe and Montepuez with a focus on particularly vulnerable groups", funded by the Generalitat Valenciana and Valencian Cooperation.
