The first set of cross-cutting measures aimed at the inclusion of people with disabilities in the city of Maputo.

Medicus Mundi participated in the 13th Annual Health and Quality of Life Coordination Meeting, organized by the Maputo City Council, through the Department of Health and Quality of Life, on July 17 and 18.

 

The invitation was extended within the framework of the project "Improving municipal policies for people with disabilities in Maputo", funded by the Municipality of Barcelona and implemented in collaboration with the Maputo City Council and ADEMO.

 

Medicus Mundi presented the results of the workshop held within the framework of the project, which developed the first set of cross-cutting measures aimed at the inclusion of people with disabilities in the city of Maputo.

 

The participation was recognized as a significant contribution to strengthening political advocacy and the creation of inclusive public policies, reinforcing the commitment to making Maputo an increasingly accessible city for all people.

 

This activity is part of the project “Improving municipal policies for people with disabilities in Maputo”, funded by the Municipality of Barcelona and implemented by medicusmundi, in collaboration with the Maputo City Council (CMM) and the Association of People with Disabilities of Mozambique (ADEMO).
